Fibre optics installations by Carlo Bernardini, who lives in Rome and Milan.

At the outset, the abstract structures of the site-specific installations are based on a rhomboidal or triangular form, some lines splitting into two along façades and between buildings. Each installation has its own precise viewpoint, from which it can be seen as a two-dimensional rhomboidal form. As soon as any shift is made from that viewpoint the lines split and transform the permeable space that the installation describes.
